At Real Amish we believe that our customers deserve low delivery fees, quoted immediately, and no surprises.

How We Ship

Items that are small and light enough to be delivered safely by common carrier (FedEx, UPS, etc.) are charged a low flat rate to cover packing and shipping. That amount will be clearly shown in your "Shopping Cart" before you decide to check out.

Larger items often require blanket wrapping and shipping by skilled furniture delivery personnel. Because we have been shipping a high volume of furniture for many years, Real Amish maintains an extensive network of furniture delivery professionals. Within hours of your order, we are already arranging a pick up date from the artisans who will handcraft your furniture and a delivery date to your home.

How Much Does It Cost?

If the furniture you order is large or heavy enough to require blanket wrapping and shipment, we charge just $195 for curbside delivery. Purchase multiple items (or even an entire house of furniture) and we still cap the curbside delivery cost at only $195.

Some customers prefer to upgrade to inside delivery which includes placement in the room of your choice, carrying items up staircases, and furniture setup. All of these premium services are available for a flat additional fee of just $150 (bringing the total cost of inside delivery for your entire order to $345).

Where Do We Deliver To?

We deliver all over the world and are proud to serve customers from almost every continent. The shipping costs listed above cover the Continental USA. If you live in Hawaii, Alaska or another country, we'll gladly arrange reasonably priced shipping. Simply call us at 800-535-4680 (7 Days a Week 10 am 10 pm Eastern Std. Time) or email. We'll let you know the complete shipping costs before we process your order.

How Long Does It Take and When Will I Be Contacted?

Typically, your furniture will be handcrafted and delivered to your home within 6 8 weeks of your order date, sometimes faster. If for any reason the process will take longer, we will call for your approval.

In all cases, we will contact you within two weeks of the day your order is confirmed with a tentative delivery date. If that date is inconvenient for you, we'll discuss alternatives. A few days before your delivery date, we will again contact you to discuss the approximate arrival time. Generally, we can tell you within an hour or two when our driver will arrive. If you ever have questions, just call. We take great pride in making our delivery process as convenient as possible.

Will My Furniture Require Any Assembly?

In most cases no. However, to prevent shipping damage, some items may require separate packing and simple assembly. For example: dressers are blanket wrapped separately from dresser mirrors. Typically they are joined by a few bolts which will arrive with the delivery.

What Happens if an Item is Damaged in Delivery?

Although shipping damage rarely occurs, that's when you most appreciate buying from Real Amish. The delivery driver will ask you to inspect your items before he or she leaves your home. If you or the driver detect any shipping damage, call us immediately and we'll decide if the item should remain at your home (for in-home repair) or be put back on the truck. We handle all logistics and expenses.
