Handcrafted in America using rustic hickory with your choice of sustainably harvested hardwoods including solid brown maple, oak, cherry, quartersawn white oak, maple, walnut, elm, hickory or character alder. (Chairs with fabric or leather seats are priced as oak, since there is no exposed wood other than the rustic hickory twigs.)
Beautiful hand-rubbed finish.
Rustic hickory is one of the hardest of all hardwoods, making it ideal for quality furniture. It is a sustainable resource, since hickory saplings re-grow and are ready for harvest again within three to five years.

Saplings are typically cut between October and March to minimize sap content. To bend a sapling, our craftsmen heat and steam the wood to approximately 170 degrees, depending on the size of the piece.

Each piece is handcrafted into a beautiful piece of art by experienced craftsmen. Because of the natural variance in the sizes and bends of the hickory, no two pieces are exactly alike. That's part of the charm of purchasing genuine heirloom-quality rustic furniture, built to be passed on from generation to generation.

Available with indoor (standard) or outdoor finish. Please note: although our craftsmen use quality outdoor finishing products, the performance of outdoor finishes depends on exposure to temperature variations, sunlight, rain, snow, wind and other naturally occurring outdoor conditions. Therefore, we cannot estimate the life or guarantee the performance of outdoor finishes.
